About Alexandra Heier
I am a professional ballet dancer with the Philadelphia Ballet who appears in 65-70 performances each year in featured and leading roles. I am driven, detail-oriented, and compassionate with a deep love for the arts and entertainment, and a passion for lifting others up. I have by my colleagues to represent them on our company's union joint committee to help maintain and improve working conditions and worked with management and lawyers to negotiate the current dancer contract. I have also collaborated with the company's marketing team to brainstorm and produce dancer-led content.
In addition to my work at Philadelphia Ballet, I am simultaneously studying at the University of Pennsylvania to earn a degree in Leadership and Communication. I've taken courses such as Business Strategy, Writing for Social Media, Professional Writing and Personal Development, and more. I plan to use my skills and knowledge built through coursework and professional experience to work towards a career in communications.
